Delete your data

This page explains how to delete your data from WeightLytic, the weight-loss app published by Steony Ltd. WeightLytic is local-first: the data you log — your weight, food, exercise, water, medications, saved meals and progress photos — is stored on your device, not on our servers, so you are always in control of it. Delete the data in the app (instant)

All of your logged health data stays on your phone, so you can remove it yourself at any time, with no request needed:

• Delete individual entries — edit or delete any weight, food, exercise, water or medication entry directly in the app.
• Delete everything in one step — open Settings → Delete all my data in the app to erase all of your on-device data and reset the app.
• Delete the app — uninstalling WeightLytic removes its on-device database and all data stored with it.

How to request that your data is deleted

To ask us to delete the data we hold about you, follow these steps:

1. Email privacy@weightlytic.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
2. Send it from the email address you want removed (or tell us which address to delete), so we can locate your data.
3. We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days — usually much sooner — and email you when it's done.

What data is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted on request. Any personal data we hold that is associated with you — in practice, your waitlist email address and name if you joined our waitlist on this website. We delete it from our active systems within 30 days and from routine backups within 90 days as backups cycle.

Already not kept. Your in-app health data (weight, food, exercise, water, medications, saved meals, progress photos) is stored only on your device, so we never hold it to delete — removing it is instant and in your control (see above). The AI features (food-photo and nutrition-label analysis, AI Coach, barcode lookup) send only the minimum needed to return a result and do not retain your personal data on our servers afterwards.

Kept only where required. We may retain a minimal record solely where the law requires it (for example, to evidence that a deletion request was handled). We do not sell your data and never share your individual health data with advertisers.
